New York State Police troopers stopped a vehicle driven by Bronx resident Sean Goodwin, 36, shortly after 2:15 a.m. on Monday morning, after he committed a vehicle and traffic violation on the interstate in Ardsley.

Police said that while interviewing Goodwin, they established probable cause to search him, his vehicle and his passenger, Porter Corners resident Stacey Dressel, 37.

During that search, police said they seized approximately 30 grams of crack cocaine, 36 grams of MDMA, three grams of Alazopram and marijuana. They were subsequently arrested at the scene and transported to State Police Headquarters in Tarrytown.

Goodwin was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and cited for having a controlled substance in a non-original container.

Dressel was charged with criminal impersonation. Both are awaiting arraignment in the Village of Ardsley Court. No bail or return court date has been released by police.
